The Humane Society Needs You!!!

Have you considered joining our team? We need both volunteers and board members. We are always looking for new ideas and some extra hands for fundraising events or perhaps you could spare some time to help out at Paws, our retail store. If you prefer a little more "hands on" with the animals, help is always welcome at the shelter where there are plenty of waggin' tails to greet you!!! Our pets love and crave all the attention you can give them!

We are also looking for people to help with grant writing. If you have experience in this area and would like to put it to good use, our furry friends would greatly appreciate it!

The staff at the animal shelter invites you to stop out and see the animals. We're sure you'll fall in love with one or more and give them a good home.

Please help the animals by making a donation!

We are proud to announce our partnership with the Humane Society of Putnam County and their new Spay/Neuter Clinic in Cookeville, TN! Their low cost spay/neuter program has helped us immensely and provided a great service to the public as well.

Everyone needs to tidy up and get rid of those good items that no longer has a use. Please consider donating those item to PAWS. We need good donations. Did you realize that the Animal Shelter's main funding comes from the sale of items at the PAWS store? We count on these sales to help us do our best for the animals of Cumberland County. PLEASE DONATE.

Also needed are Volunteers at the store. Help us process donated items and work retail at the store. No experience necessary - just a warm body needed. It's a great way to use your time for a good cause - you'll be glad that you did and so will we. Please contact the store if you are interested.
